The Settlers 7: Demo available now
The demo of The Settlers 7 features one map (called the "River Town") playable in three different modes:
- single player mode against a predefined AI
- free single player mode with no AI / opponent for free building
- and in multiplayer mode with predefined victory points
The demo also contains a tutorial video with voice cast (English and German) and a few splash screens that explain additional features like the map forge. Download through the link. -

News: TF2 releases first user-made content
Valve "really excited" about future.
Valve's released the first "bunch" of user-made items and weapons for Team Fortress 2 on Steam.
These were submitted to the new Team Fortress 2 Contribution Site, and Valve's excited about the potential this has for the future.
"This is really exciting for us here at Valve," reads a post on the TF2 blog. "This update represents the next step in that process. The line between developers and players is getting very blurry, and we think that's a great thing. "

Steam dumps Ubisoft DRM games
CVG: PC downloads centre Steam appears to have removed Ubisoft titles Assassin's Creed 2 and Silent Hunter V from its service. CVG understands an objection to the DRM measures of both titles is the reason behind the decision. -
Dark Age of Camelot Reopens with 14-Day Free Trial
Following the February 17th transition from GOA to Mythic Entertainment, all European Dark Age of Camelot characters and account information have been migrated to Mythic servers and are available to present and past players. Once logged in, European players will be fully updated to the latest North American version of the game.
